About
Bio/Description

Before coming to Princeton, Abby earned her B.A. in Molecular Biology from Colgate University and worked for two years as a post-bac research fellow at the National Institutes of Health. She has a passion for using biochemistry and structure to understand the complex protein machinery that makes the basic functions of life possible, which she is now applying to the study of the HOPS membrane tethering complex and its associated fusion-driving SNAREs. Outside of the lab, she co-chairs the local outreach branch of MBOP, writes for Princeton Insights, and, for fun, composes and arranges music.
